TeamSILENT2 ~ SH fans, spread this info please

Those who still remember me, and those who probably dont - i still owe You a little bit of an information about how I've been doing last year. I also know I promised to come back with a new journal entry, telling You that, however this time I need to come up with something else.
Many of You already know, that Im forever addicted Silent Hill fan. So this entry will be mostly dedicated for community of Silent Hill fans, called ~TeamSilent2.
This community is made for protecting the idea of 'old' Silent Hill. So Im writing this entry for 2 purposes:
- Protecting an idea and artwork of the old silent hill team.
- Spreading information to other Silent Hill fans (my watchers), who are willing to participate and support Silent Hill, in order to remain as it was.
I cannot judge about all the disadvantages and advantages of Silent Hill "Shattered Memories" by only watching so far available videos. For complete reviews of a game I would need to play it through. However, quite some things I've seen so far, dissapoints me.
First and main: Silent Hill "Shuttered Memories" is a "re-imagining" a storyline of a SH1. I went like WTH?! They copy whole_a_lot of the SH1 basics and pull out the "modernized" version of it? ouch... >.<
Another thing: Where is the fog? I mean - isn't the fog like one on the most typical things that makes Silent Hill look like the Silent Hill? Instead, streets are covered in snow and ice. And only one thing comes into my mind: "SH Ice Age has come." Now lets discuss it from the other point of view. I know its not so bad, as it might seem in the beginning. Its the new design, new looks, giving a new level of entertainment etc, etc... Im not trying to put the idea of implementing the 'ice age' down, however for me it simply doesn't feel Silent Hill way.
Third: Just look at the Claudia! O_O ..and tell me, that is a Silent Hill? Ok, ok. That's just my first impression. Players will get used to it sooner or later (or maybe never - I dont know), though the mystery, what she was carrying, in my opinion, is lost. And yes, not only Claudia. Look at the Harry. Look at the Cybil! O_O; It just doesn't seem to be serious... Its not that the closes doesn't fit them, but they don't fit Silent Hill anymore! And again - Im talking about the 'old' Silent Hill outfits which were carried through all the 5 parts of the Silent Hill game.
Next: GPS, mobile phone, modern style messages appearing in the middle of Your screen. Didnt the sound of good old radio scared the hell out of You sometimes? Where is it now? Dunno about You guys, but I'm gonna miss it. And I suppose I'm not the only one who will miss it. As if for me - all those 'modern-style' implements makes me feel like im partly playing resident evil. And super-duper cool cellphone camera, with what You can capture invisible ghosts, makes me remember the Fatal Frame! So why should I feel, like Im playing 3 different games instead of pure Silent Hill?
Finally:I dont want to sound harsh, but for me it really makes a big difference. And as far as I have read in DA, it makes a difference for lot of players. However, what I said is only my individual opinion, which its not about putting the whole game down, rather to describe the parts of the game, what makes "old style lovers" be slightly dissapointed.
Im still gonna buy this game, for a complete collection, and I'm looking froward to play it as soon as possible.
Today, I also wrote an answer to a news entry, which contains pretty much of how I feel about the out coming game "Shattered Memories". For saving up some work of 're-writing' all the story from a beginning, i just copy-paste my comment for Your acknowledge (so dont be surprised if You see it double):
"[..] Let me put it this way - i hear a lot of people saying "SH origins is just a poor attempt to make the real SH" or "environment and feeling of the SH origins is nicely done, but the way characters look, makes me feel im not playing Silent Hill, but a side game of it..." I might be giving a bad critics, but many people I know in real life are really disappointed about the game 'SH Origins' itself.
Yes, I played it. Yes I still enjoyed the game. No I don't want to put those guys down for making it, but what I'm trying to say is that I would like to expect 100% of Silent Hill in future, what means pretty much like the "old" style. But, Maria, You are very right about the fact, that if new game is not the one we expected it to be - we simply plug in PS1/2 and play off our frustration!!!
On the other side - what is the purpose of teamSILENT2? Isn't it providing a free guidance and reference through critics to the new developers in order go on with some of the old standards, which are so much appreciated between us, SH lovers?
Just like all of You, i also expect 'Shattered Memories' to come out. Im trying not to be negative, and im sorry if I sounded like that way... For one part I think that most of the people are about to face not_so_expected SH coming out, with all those so far not implemented features like GPS, new outfits etc., but we never can say whether its really good or bad, before we play it. Some people are just afraid of those changes. Im one of them. And I cant hide it. On the other hand, I understand, that its not possible always to stick with an old standards. So, Im not giving anymore bullshit about 'true fan', since we all experience this game somewhat different - for one these changes are crucial, for another just a new adventure. What is it all about is actually our fear, that this new game could turn out somehow similar to SH origins. But even if so - we still going to play it, wont we? Its still fun, for me - maybe little bit less fun, but that's just my personal opinion. What I do expect, is that someday, when another Silent Hill comes out, or even Silent Hill after, we gonna meet good old James/Claudia/Cybil, with all the appropriate environment fog/rust etc. And that's what I give my critics for - even if some people might not like it."

I have a lot of SH fans in my friend list, so I thought it would be a good idea to let them know about the chance to participate in supporting the ideas of the 'old' Silent Hill team, in order to see an 'old' Silent Hill coming back.
